This evening I had the exciting and wonderful pleasure of photographing my beautiful best friend Allix Ruby and her hidden little girl who's coming out into our waiting arms this Thanksgiving Lord willing :D :D. CanNOT wait to share more of all this glory :D :D.
A couple weeks ago, I was at a Bible camp in Missouri :D. One day during lunch, my mom called me over to introduce me to Mrs. Amanda Dickmann and tell me that both our families were going to be in Destin, Florida at the same time! How fun!
Fast forward to yesterday evening at "The Crab Trap" and their family portraits were taken on the beach by me! :D It was a beautiful evening on the sand and the hair-tossing-wind couldn't stop them from looking great. Hehe :D.
Thank y'all again for asking me to capture this fun family vacation memory! :D
Back in April, my remarkable, dear wedding photographer friend I've looked up to for years, Rebekah J. Murray (you can see her adorable, beautiful face below :D), added me and over 100 other kindreds to a closed Facebook group to share with us a clothing company she was starting!! She'd been working on it for two years (she's done her homework), but now wanted input from her friends to help make this company a beautiful success. Well, we were all ecstatic because we knew anything Rebekah put her mind to create was guaranteed to be completely wonderful; we were beyond honored to be included so early on :D.
And thus began the polls: what did we want in a dress? What problems did we have with dress buying? What did we want our style to convey? What sizing terms did we prefer? etc… It was all so exciting and it felt SO GOOD to describe our dream dresses to her (fitted waists! classy lengths! POCKETS!) and know that she was going to make them come true :D :D.
Fast forward to last Wednesday and, with the help of many kindreds, the Virginia Dare Dress Co. Kickstarter was launched :D. If you haven't already found your way to it through the links I've snuck in, watch the video below and discover Rebekah's beautiful, beautiful vision for this company :) :).
And here are the three enchanting dresses you can pre-order to help make this dream a reality!! :D
~ The Camilla ~
~ The Emma ~
~ The Samantha ~
To read details about each dress, more details about the company, and see all the different ways you can be a part, go to the Kickstarter page!! :D. And to make it even easier, watch Rebekah's video below that explains exactly how it all works :D
On April 8th, I traveled up to Oklahoma with my pregnant best friend Allix (of Allix Ruby Photography) to help her photograph one of the most perfect weddingsever <3 <3 <3. I felt like we were in the Hundred Acre Wood. It was almost my dream wedding: the red and maroon; the bright, invigorating sunlight pouring through the trees; the lush, rye grass her father planted everywhere; HER PERFECT FLOWER CROWN; and the kind, simple, sweet, joyful fellowship that their magical reception consisted of <3 <3. I could keep going on and on about everything that made Adam and Natalie's wedding unforgettable, but I'm gonna stop there and let the pictures tell the rest :). Enjoy this wonderful day :) <3
